Visa Requirement

All visitors to Australia (with the sole exception of New Zealand citizens travelling on New Zealand passports) must apply for and obtain a visa to enter Australia before commencing travel to Australia.

Please note the following:

arrow-circle-sml The Australian Government’s Department of Immigration and Border Protection is responsible for issuing visas. There are a range of different visitor visas, conditions, application fees and processing times. Please ensure that you apply for your visa in good time.

arrow-circle-sml Citizens of some countries may apply for visas online, others may need to apply in person at an Australian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate.

Invitation letter

The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for Visa purposes. The letters can be requested during online-registration and will be sent as e-mail attachment. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support. Kindly note if your visa will be rejected we will refund the registration fee without any penalties. A proof of rejection is mandatory and has to be provided until one week before congress at the latest!
